When Family Guy fans saw these Dunk High’s releasing we heard “giggity giggity goo” more than a few times. Nike SB has been known to look at popular Fox cartoons (*cough* Homers *cough*) for inspiration and the final product of this sneaker was spot on when compared to Glen Quagmire. The “lovable” friend of Peter Griffin, Quagmire is a staple piece of the franchise. His attitude and look lead us to believe he probably attempted, but failed at riding a skateboard in his youth.

The look of the Dunk High was spot on to Quagmire’s outfit on the show. His favorite shirt is transformed onto the mid-panel and strap, complete with embroidered in gold stars. The rest of the upper the same shade of blue as his pants in suede and canvas. Additional touches come in the form of contrast stitching added to the Swoosh, heel and midsole. A white and dark gum sole finishes off this skate shoe.
Packaged with either white laces to match the midsole or a pair to match the stars we now wondering what is taking so long for a rest of the character’s to be Dunk-ified.
