Dave’s Quality Meats aka DQM doesn’t sound like your typical sneaker shop, but its unique name and signature look has made it a destination for sneakerholics and non-sneaker enthusiasts that visit New York. Since its beginning the shop has worked on a variety of sneakers for different brands. Through all those projects their most popular collaboration is probably the “Bacon” Air Max 90 though, keeping true to the shop’s theme. One thing that has carried over from that runner into their other designs is the focus on high quality materials, which we saw in this Dunk High Premium pack.

Consisting of three variations, their take on the iconic Dunk High was a simple affair. The focus of the project was the material, high quality suede, to ensure they deserved the Premium tag. Nearly the entire upper was clad in the perforated material with only the tongue not ventilated. That is where the DQM logo was embossed in, replacing where was normally a Nike tag. You could also find a matching tonal DQM tag stitched onto the insoles of the sneakers. If you had a chance to purchase a pair your choices were between Industrial Blue, Cave Purple or Ice Green color options.

The premium pack was released in limited quantities to select Nike retailers worldwide. Grabbing all three was a task, but finding the limited Friends & Family “Black” edition is even tougher as only 24 pairs were available to the shop.
