Sneaker Spotlight: Nike Dunk High Pro SB “Brian Anderson”

One of the most respected skateboarders in the world is Brian Anderson. Ever since bursting onto the scene in the late Nineties by turning pro one year and winning Thrasher Magazine’s Skateboarder of the Year the next, Anderson has become a mainstay, both in the skate world and in the minds of sneaker enthusiasts. One of the most memorable sneakers to come from his longstanding partnership with Nike SB is this high-top camo clad version.

The Brian Anderson Nike SB Dunk was part of the second custom series and released six years ago this month in August of 2006. It used a color combination of Saftey Orange and Sable Green camouflage, which was inspired by hunting. The similarities to those jackets and hats found in your local sporting goods retailer proved to be quite popular when placed on the Nike Dunk High. This colorway, also features a unique insole with a figure wearing an “SF” belt buckle, a tribute to the city where Brian Anderson calls home when he’s not traveling the world on his skateboard. To make this colorway even more unique, a mix of nubuck and denim material is combined with the always popular gum outsole.

Are these Nike SB Dunks a part of your collection?
